Barks and Brews is a calendar designed for Bowser Beer, a brand that makes beer specially for dogs. Each month features a particular dog breed with a particular beer that either utilized rhyme or alliteration. The illustrations, hand-drawn type, and colors were inspired by old French and Italian advertisements, particularly alcohol advertisements
