Shelter is a book illustrated to lyrics of Eisley’s song, “Shelter.” The song is about relying on someone when one cannot support themselves, so the concept of forest animals losing their homes to deforestation was created. The story follows a family of birds and other animals who have lost their homes, so they only have each other as their shelter. In addition to illustration, the book contains whimsical hand-lettering.
